Aaron Slaton drops fiery song ‘Shake em Off’
‘Shake em Off’ is a Christian rap song that wasn’t originally meant to be rapped. The plan was to eventually have a singer take the lead on the song as the unconventional hip-hop drum pattern and horn sound played along. An upbeat Christian hip hop song was born when the idea struck one day to write rap lyrics over the instrumental. Aaron Slaton’s rap vocals would be recorded, and strong, soulful female singing vocals would be added. The song has a rhythm and a praise/hip hop sound thanks to the rapper/singer pairing and the sound choices.
People will naturally dance and move to the song’s upbeat rhythm as they become aware of it. They will also be reminded loud and clear to keep going when life gets difficult and the enemy is attacking rather than letting life’s burdens drag you down. Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and do not rely on your own understanding, Proverbs 3:5โ6 says. “Acknowledge the Lord in all your ways, and He shall make straight your paths.” It is very simple to get caught up in daily life and give worry and fear free reign in our minds. As we continue to speak and declare what Jesus is saying while remaining in his presence. He will grant us the ability to maintain our attention on Him and drive the devil from our lives.
