Al Buchanan released captivating new song ‘1998’
The latest song from Al Buchanan is titled ‘1998’. ‘Bringing Me Back To Life’, his first extended play, was followed up with this EP in the summer of 2022. Al has previously used other singers on his songs, but this single, the first from his upcoming album, features only him on all instruments and vocals. With vocal harmonies all throughout, ‘1998’ is a blend of ambient and indie rock with a powerful epic ending. It’s a song about the past, about relocating as a child and all the experiences that entails. Elbow, Foals, and Doves fans will enjoy it. Al’s new single largely maintains the ambient sound that transports the listener on a journey through his past after receiving airplay on BBC Introducing and having his previous single, ‘Don’t Eat The Daisies’, named Track Of The Week.
