Around My Head by Poison Oak: Review
Poison Oak are an electrifying indie rock band whose track “Around My Head” should be on your radar. Their rhythm is a mix of high-intensity guitars, powerful vocals, and aggressive drumming segments. Altogether, it creates an explosive sound that grabs your attention and immediately draws you in with the band’s cadence.
“Around My Head” pertains to the essence of indie rock and adds a few tropes from genres such as punk and alternative rock. This aura is brought on by the tone of the guitars, where the distorted and overdriven sounds are powerful enough to ignite your spirit. Aside from this strong point, Poison Oak’s ability to maintain a tune is pretty impressive. They go from fast-paced rhythm sections and energetic vocals to some slower sequences. Therefore, it creates a solid tempo that is easy to follow and get into. The vibe is quite natural, and the band’s ability to rock out is incredible to hear. Aside from that, there’s a gripping guitar solo halfway through the immensely catchy track. And when it fades, a soft acoustic bit comes on with vocals and returns to its rock groove.
Indie rock is a treasured genre in my book. The soul and spirit of this genre is fascinating to hear and is entertainment at its finest. In that same regard, Poison Oak’s song “Around My Head” is superb, and a must-hear for all rock fans on a global scale. So, don’t miss out on it!
