Baby Mic Candy drops fiery new song ‘Take Off’
Uprising Thai and Japanese Hip Hop group, Baby Mic Candy (BMC), released their second single, ‘TAKE OFF’, via Sony Music Entertainment Japan. With the release of ‘TAKE OFF’, BMC announced the addition of FIAT, a well-known actor and artist from Thailand. The second single from BMC, ‘TAKE OFF’, was created by upcoming music producer SpatChies.
SpatChies has previously worked with many of Thailand’s top rappers, including MILLI, MAIYARAP, 1MILL, Younggu, and others. ‘TAKE OFF’ is the ideal “departure song” for BMC, which is starting over as a 4-member group with the addition of new member FIAT.
‘TAKE OFF’ is a mashup of the four members’ individual musical styles and personalities, as well as some Japanese-like sounds to show the national characteristics of the Thai and Japanese peoples. The four members all grew up in very different environments with different languages and cultures. A cool party vibe is maintained in the music thanks to the tight, minimal beats used in its composition. The harmony of the vocals and flows between the three current members of FIAT and BMC is the song’s most appealing feature. Although the single is based on Hip Hop, it contains numerous club music elements that uplift the entire song. The arrangements provide a sense of comfort that is particular to the Thai and Japanese Hip Hop music communities while also being nostalgic and innovative.
