Carmel Worship release inspiring new song ‘Love of Christ’
The worship group at Charlotte, North Carolina’s Carmel Baptist Church is called Carmel Worship. These songs, which are based on the Bible, have developed over time within the singing local congregation. We share them with the hope that they will be “pleasing in His sight,” starting with ‘Love of Christ’ (Ps 19:14).
God chooses to make the word of Christ richly dwell in us through song (Col 3:16). It’s how He pours His Holy Spirit into us (Eph 5:19). But these Psalms, Hymns, and Songs of the Spirit are also our communication to one another as we make melody to the Lord in our hearts. It is a congregation. The tone is casual. a conversation that starts with the Father, moves from our union with Christ to our fellowship with one another.
Over and over, these same Psalms invite us to sing the Lord a new song. They also extend an invitation to you to join us in responding to that call as we worship Jesus together until Christ is formed in us. Amen. Glory to Him for all eternity.
