Change Me by Pressure: Review

Pressure, with their intensely varied sound, blend cutting-edge storytelling techniques with rock and metal music, as well as visual and technical components, and personal narratives, to create something fresh and original. With two albums under their belt in as many years and the backing of their label, Xing Records, the band is prepared to take on a wide variety of new initiatives, songs, and melodies. The band’s track “Change me” is a beautiful and modern metal piece that classic guitar riffs, and a vocal duo that will send electrifying signals to your nerves.

“Change me” opens up with some incredible guitar arrangements that shred like steel. Accompanying all these wonderful sequences are some steady percussion pieces that work in perfect cohesion with the singer’s intuition. What I enjoyed most about the track was that fire of a chorus. It certain is filled with a remarkable melody that sounds like an operatic segment, almost heavenly if I must say.

In the metal music industry filled with screamo and growling techniques implemented in vocals, Pressure comes with a fresh and powerful clean singing style that is impactful all the same. “Change me” has a strong sense of lyricsm, and once the singing mellows down a bit it creates a path for a soulful solo to arise and cause eruptions that will shake your very core.
