Curse by Pale Dream: Album Review
Pale Dreamโs album โCurseโ fits the perfect mood for lounging or immersing yourself in the serenity of walking on a beach. The indie-pop and ambient sound from the band is quite intriguing and pertain to a soft-spoken lullaby.
I went in listening to the album with an open mind, and felt quite delighted with its beginnings in โHeartacheโ. The tune is quite captivating and surrounds the air with echoes from the guitars and synths. Quite ethereal and ominous, the song manages to bring forth a commendable performance filled with vocal pieces that speak about a tragic sentiment weโre all familiar with. Reaching the sequence of โWalt and Pennyโ felt like stepping into a room full of neon lights away from the smoky scenes of the previous tracks. The song has more of a kick to it and has a nice punchy bass line. The indie-pop texture is more prominent here, and as the guitars bring forth a catchy hook, the singer takes the mic for a graceful piece.
โCurseโ is a mysterious tune filled with the delight of ambient escapism through moody synergy. The guitarโs texture is quite vibrant and has a stellar tone. It delightfully captures that minimalistic feel resonating from crisp indie tunes. In its entirety, the album is themed with a dark color palette all the while ensuring an atmospheric sound that was quite alluring to hear.
