“Dog In Yard” is an impressive rock EP by artist Asaf Ashkenazy whose music is a combination of cozy rhythms and intense poetry. The collection has five songs, full of energy, and flows with a strong cadence. Asaf is a true veteran in blending the diversity of rock music, with neighboring genres such as pop, folk, and indie. His music is a beacon of creativity for fellow rockers, guided by incredible guitar arrangements, and deep vocals.
The EP enters with the folk-rock allure of “Don’t Cry.” It’s a pleasant tune to chill with, and it is incredibly touching. The strumming of the guitar feels refreshing to hear, and its resonance blends with Asaf’s voice brilliantly. Next up, is the gripping hard rock track “Spread The Light”, which is a powerful hymn that should keep you in high spirits. Its electric guitar textures are stunning to hear, and tagging along is an infectious singer that entices you from the very get-go. So, with such an interesting dynamic at play in the EP, it’s simple to recommend it to someone with good taste in music!
“Take Me” is a charming pop-rock tune that keeps your feet tapping and your head bobbing. The colorful rhythms in the piece and beautiful chorus bits are stunning, and pretty satisfying too! So, with all that said, Asaf Ashkenazy’s EP “Dog In Yard” is a captivating record that all fans of rock would be overjoyed to hear.
