Jay Roecker brings a homely vibe to the dance floor with his album, Electronic Symphonic. Combining a retro undertone with Jay’s modern electronic synth space, he shakes up the album with remixes, romantic melodies and obviously, jazz. Add to the mix Jay’s personal voice: he brings something that moves more than your body on the dancefloor.
Electronic Symphonic is a 12-track album, starting with Pour on Me, circulating heavily in radio and clubs for its introspective flair on top of its undeniable infectious energy. Jay showcases both the original and remixed version of his track, The House, with the original having an atmospheric ambiance sparkling with jolting beats prancing like marbles behind stunning vocals. Its remixed version just happens to be the showstopper track, with its beats much more upfront and clear. It reflects a more here-and-now effect, perfect for a dance to end the day with, while the original adds more of a nostalgic and transcendent vibe to the soundscape.
While every track has its own shine shimmering through the album, bringing it whole, its titular track, the star of the album, Electronic Symphonic, is irreplaceable. The album would be eternally incomplete without Electronic Symphonic’s retro electronic synth waves and beats, which bring a jazzy flair to the space. What’s more, in the second half of the track it takes the form of an orchestral composition with the twist of an immersive, ear-flooding experience. Quite the thrill it must be for the music to possess you with the fuzzy vocals with an electric force. And it should definitely electrify you.
