‘Fire,’ a new original production from Parov Stelar. The song will appear on Stelar’s next album.
Parov Stelar returns with ‘Fire,’ a new lead single that comes hot on the heels of the famous Austrian producer’s latest hit ‘Toxic Lover.’
With singles like ‘Candy Girl’ and ‘It Late Night Mix’ already under his belt, the artist is gearing up for the release of his full-length album, ‘Moonlight Love Affair,’ which is set to launch at the end of this month. ‘Fire,’ which is out today on his own label Etage Noir Recordings, is accessible to listen to on all streaming platforms.
The roughly two-and-a-half-minute piece begins with a pulsing beat that serves as a perfect complement to the plucked guitar strings that take up the majority of the soundscape. For the first half of the tune, a western-like ambiance sets the tone, and is joined by a dominating vocal performance that is both cerebral and eerie.
Parov Stelar’s amazing synth manipulation is also on full display from start to finish, demonstrating his impressive studio versatility as he smoothly combines a variety of genres with deft ease. Overall, ‘Fire’ is a fantastic new addition to the respected artist’s discography, and it provides an exciting preview of what fans and listeners may expect when ‘Moonlight Love Affair’ is released later this month.
Marcus Fuereder, better known by his stage name Parov Stelar, is an accomplished Austrian artist who, since the release of his debut EP ‘Kisskiss’ in 2004, has pioneered the ‘electro swing’ genre. His art has appeared in a number of films and television series, as well as advertising for Audi, Colgate, Google, Target, and a number of other companies.
He’s released eleven full-length albums and over twenty EPs to far, with Klingande, Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett, and Lana Del Rey, to mention a few, lending their support. He’s also performed on the stages of prestigious festivals including Coachella, Glastonbury, Lollapalooza, and others.
The chart-topping artist has also dabbled in other genres, such as visual art, and last year in his hometown of Linz, he held a summer museum exhibition with 25 large-format paintings. In addition, his 2012 hit ‘Booty Swing’ has been fully integrated into the TikTok app, playing whenever the ‘Hollywood Makeup Effect’ is selected, which is a huge accomplishment for any musician.
