Follow Through by Avresa: Review
Avresa’s “Follow Through” is a fresh take on uplifting indie rock. Australian-based artist Jeremy is the mind behind Avresa, and he creates lively melodies. This is evident through energetic guitars, and an upbeat singer grabbing the mic. In its entirety “Follow Through” is a mixture of folk in the song’s entrance, while the crescendo serves as an epic indie rock piece meant to inspire the masses.
Before we get into the heart of the song, the guitar bits must be addressed. First of all, amazing production work, the instrument’s notes are crystal clear and it allows for a lovely hearing experience. Also, the choice of tone was excellent! The mellow portions were such a vibe, and when the distortion enters, the atmosphere does a switch and it’s a bit more wholesome. Moving on to the uplifting aspects of Avresa’s music, where his primary sound settles in. This is because the melody of the track brimmed with hope and positivity. There’s a pleasant and almost healing attribute to the artist’s song, For instance, when “Follow Through” exits, everything just enters a soothing ambient piece. It’s a form of escapism, especially after the more rock-heavy bits. It’s almost like the audience embarked on a journey and upon reaching their destination, a sigh of relief and joy commenced.
We need more music such as “Follow Through” in our lives. Particularly in those moments when we’re drowning in a sea of melancholy and a guiding melody is required to bring us back to shore.
