Foundry Town Survivors release entrancing song ‘American Dreams’
The traditional rock band Foundry Town Survivors examines the ‘American Dream’ on Black Friday as they continue their series of emotionally stirring tales. Since the beginning of 2021, the duo has released nine songs. Their ability to work together while being nearly 2,000 miles and two time zones apart from one another has not slowed their development. These musicians have been playing together intermittently since their high school years in Ann Arbor, Michigan, so they are not newcomers to the scene. They started thinking about “unfinished business” after a run-in with former bandmates in November 2018, which sparked the idea for Foundry Town Survivors. Over the years, they have put in countless hours performing, touring, writing, and recording both separately and together. Playing Rock, Jazz, Blues, Country, and Americana, they have earned their keep while fusing these influences into a sound that is all their own.
