DJ and producer from Ireland midlands, now based in the French Alps, James Clav has released his latest summer bop, “Give It To Me – Radio Edit.” Released this Aug 8, this track comes with his single that contains the original song as well.
With sparkly synths pulsating behind, the radio edit of “Give It To Me” gets immediately high energy with rich, thick vocals singing, “Give it to me, baby, give it to me.” This refrain gets you hypnotized and before you know what to give, you surrender to the rhythm. The frequency of the refrains speeds up and with a zooming force traversing the line, the music halts only for the beats to take the helm and get more contagious.
Midway, the song reverbs and floods in fuzz as the fizz builds up tentatively. It all leads up to the burst of the bridge which absolutely breathes fire like the scorching summer heat. And your breath, you will be trying to catch all along. The crackling crescendo rides very well to the rhythmic groove we have all grown accustomed to.
If you can’t tell already, “Give It To Me – Radio Edit” is an immediate bop and makes you wonder about the effortlessly sleek artist. James Clav got a chance to perform 3 stages at Tomorrowland Winter 2023, so that speaks for itself. And if you want to listen to what the original version sounds like, it’s all free for your listening on Spotify.
