Hidden by All Within: Review
Gritty, fast-paced, and intense. โHiddenโ by All Within is a Heavy Metal song with elements of thrash thrown around, and it is truly an excellent one at that. With melodious vocal execution from singer Lovisa Laine, and crunchy guitar riffs from Sam Green and Ciaran Mcgeough the band truly brings out a versatile personality through their fierce metal track. Also, leading on the drums and bass guitar are Alannah Frame, and Ines Pinheiro, both of whom did a remarkable take on the transitions on the tone of each segment in โHiddenโ.
From the very first second, you can hear the electric guitar fading into the track. It just sounds so frickin brutal and epic! Feels like a tribute to the classic and modern DOOM video games. For some reason the guitar riffs and the deep distorted tone made me want to go back to those games and destroy demon hives. The singerโs voice is pleasant and she is able to blend her tone quite well with the trackโs overall genre.
In the chorus and verse sections, the guitar riffs interact with the drum transitions flawlessly and it is something very important in metal music because you want everyone on the same wavelength and pace mechanisms to be stable. Thus, each band member contributed their piece excellently and I am truly glad such a dark and fierce metal track was composed by these talented artists. โHiddenโ is available for streaming and everyone should definitely give it a listen!
