Sophia Bolinderโs latest single, โI Can Feel It,โ featuring longtime collaborator John Soul, is a glossy, groove-soaked slice of retro-meets-modern magic that feels like stepping into a glittering disco ball and never wanting to leave. Released August 1st, 2025, itโs their third time joining forces after โWhat I Wantโ and โUnder The Stars,โ and by now, their musical chemistry is so tight itโs practically telepathic. This track takes a clear page from the golden age of disco while layering in smooth R&B sensibilities and a dash of funk, creating something nostalgic and fresh enough to own the dance floor in 2025.
It kicks off with a moody undercurrent, a slow-burn shimmer of synths before the beat lands with a confident thump, like the click of high heels on a lit-up floor. Sophiaโs smoky, deep, and deliciously sultry lower register takes the lead, pulling you close with a velvety tone. Then John Soul slides in on the chorus, his husky, charismatic highs playing the perfect foil to her richnessโtwo voices that dance around each other with ease.
Production-wise, the song sparkles with carefully placed details, as shimmering keys, basslines that swagger instead of stomp, and a rhythm that makes your shoulders start moving before you even realize it. Nonetheless, the music lets the groove breathe, making space for the voices to lead the party.
โI Can Feel Itโ is about that electric charge when the lights dim, the crowd sways in sync, and you can feel possibility in the air. Bolinder and Soul have bottled that moment and poured it into three and a half minutes of pure, irresistible joy. If this track doesnโt make you want to hit the nearest dance floor, you might just need a bigger mirror ball.
