I Dreamt I Met Elvis by Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends: Review
“I Dreamt I Met Elvis” is a stunning indie-folk rock track by the musical act Arn-Identified Flying Objects and Alien Friends. Truly a unique band name, and an equally unique sound, the artist showcases incredible spirit in their compositions. “I Dreamt I Met Elvis” is arranged with bluesy guitar lines, the minimal inclusion of a mandolin, and a plethora of vocal prowess.
From start to finish the artist hooks us with their musical allure. This is evident through instrumental synergy and outbursts of harmony. The guitar in particular sparked my intrigue the most. Within its structure lay smooth licks that add a bit of desert rock to the folk tune. ‘Cause of its light gain tone and accompanying acoustic counterparts the guitar sequences take the center stage to make “I Dreamt I Met Elvis” stand out. Aside from that, the singing elements of the track are undoubtedly eccentric and catchy. Once you get a taste of this act’s artistic merit the song sounds better on repeat. And what consistently struck a chord was the singer’s force and how the entire track merged perfectly with the beat of their drum.
Out of all the genres I find charming in this day and age, the indie-folk space is indeed the most resonant. I’m glad the genre’s soul is kept alive through hypnotic pieces like “I Dreamt I Met Elvis.” So if you seek a wholesome number filled with delightful acoustic passages, then please don’t miss out on this!
