I Hate You and I Wanna Hate You More by Mr. Brown: Review
โI Hate You and I Wanna Hate You Moreโ. Need I say more? Itโs as articulate as it gets and Mr. Brown couldnโt have summed up better about what heโs basing this punk head-rollicking song on.
Timed at 2 minutes and 37 seconds, there is absolute chaos with no structure. Thereโs literally not one note in this track that youโll be able to predict other than the catchy chorus itself. Although the track is about fighting on Christmas Eve, Iโm thinking this could fit in a lot of situations, because as lovey-dovey and close-knitted as couples may seem, sometimes they can be equally as bitter. To narrow it down to only a couple of genres would be an understatement because this October release is everything from alternative rock to pop-funk to skate punk heavily rooted in rock. Honestly, it has such a Nick Miller energy from the series New Girl, terribly bitter!
Youโll absolutely love the madness and hate the deafening silence after the song finishes up! I mean the man rose from the grave after 14 years to give us a hate-fueled comeback single โ boy, the loathing must be real! Or perhaps it is the shocking factor of it that makes it stand out? Either way, Daniel has done a great job and will catch the attention of The Offspring, Jimmy Eat World, Alkaline Trio, Weezer, and Ramones fans.
