Daniel Alspach’s new single, “I’ll Follow,” releasing on 21st November 2025, is a surprisingly universal moment in his growing artistic journey. Hailing from Fostoria, Ohio, Alspach has always leaned into sincerity, but here he hits a new stride, helped along by producer Inc. CVRNTE on the instrumental and Italy-based Diego Fernandes, whose mixing and mastering give the track a luminous sheen. Written entirely alone, the song stems from the memory of Alspach’s late grandfather, though, like many stories born from grief, it blooms into something wider, touching on friendship, loyalty, and the quiet bonds that outlast time. And because “I’ll Follow” is an early window into the upcoming EP Have a Happy Day: Act 1 (set for 2026), it comes even more heartfelt, with an original direction for the project.
Anyway, once the track starts, “I’ll Follow” wastes no time setting a mood. It opens with glistening, crystalline, almost translucent guitar chords that shimmer like light on glass. Then Alspach’s high, husky, slightly grainy voice drifts in, loose, wandering, as if he’s singing from a place halfway between memory and numbness. He trails his notes in that laid-back, almost floaty way, giving the sense that the emotions are heavy, but he’s carrying them gently. Before long, the rhythm section comes ticking in, fast, subtle like a heartbeat as it layers a sense of momentum beneath the warm, soothing melody.
As the song unfolds, his tone stays tender, touched with emotional softness that lets them breathe. The production lets his vulnerability sit front and center, like the glow of a candle in a dark room. And by the time the final notes fade, you realize the track is a lingering vow of presence. In short, “I’ll Follow” is a small, intimate whisper that somehow echoes far beyond its edges.
