Inside My Head by Holly Wild: Review

An emotional melody unfolds in Holly Wild’s Indie-pop track “Inside My Head.” The Australian artist’s gritty vocals are quite hypnotic to hear, especially when she’s in full drive. Along with resonating guitars and a swaying drum beat, “Inside My Head” creates a gripping soundscape. In addition to that, the lyrics speak about our inner demons, and the tune provides an escape for those thoughts to be liberated.

The vibe of “Inside My Head” has the sentiment of pop rock blended with a deep narrative of the soul. In combination, these two create a cadence that Holly Wild captured beautifully. Her approach to the genre is met with a mellow verse where a lovely minor guitar progression plays. But when the chorus comes on, Holly brings forth a more energetic aspect to the melody. You can hear elements of pain, passion, and just the essence of Indie-pop surrounding her voice. It’s quite pleasant to hear, but tugs on your heartstrings all the while. This is primarily because of the narrative of “Inside My Head.” Her message will resonate with the masses, and due to her universal narrative, it’s a track that audiences would be delighted to hear on repeat.

From an instrumental perspective, “Inside My Head” has an intriguing flow, especially the guitar bits of the song. There’s a fine combination of low minor chords, and neo-soul riffs are thrown in for good measure. Altogether, the melody creates a delightful cadence where Holly’s voice fits in perfectly!
