Jaemes Dean drops entrancing new song ‘Alas (feat. Mirla Luna)’
The song ‘Alas’ is @jaemesdean’s fifth officially released single, the first to be performed entirely in Spanish, and the first to feature a guest artist (@mirlaluna). This video, like many others, was shot in New York, which is also where Jaemes has his base of operations.
The song is about gaining one’s independence. It discusses the various guises that we adopt on a daily basis in order to conceal our true selves from others and avoid being singled out for criticism. The author of ‘Can’t Break Me’ wants to convey the message that despite all of the pressure that comes from the outside, we are stronger than it and we must not allow ourselves to be beaten by it.
