JEYAIA’S LATEST SINGLE, NO LOVE, IS THE VOICE OF VULNERABILITY.
Following the commercial success of her debut track Rising, Jeyaia (pronounced Jay-uh) returns with her second single No Love, a story about two people coming together to trigger each other’s deepest wounds in order to heal and evolve.
No Love is a deep, sensuous, and soul-stirring exploration of human connection that can only be depicted via the vulnerability of personal experience. With LoFi inspired beats and hard-hitting harmonies, as well as Jeyaia’s deep and passionate lead vocals, the tune has a classic R&B intensity reminiscent of early Aaliyah.
“No Love describes that feeling that many can resonate with; the feeling of being alone, even when lying in someone’s arms and being as close as two humans can possibly be.” – says Jeyaia. “We spend so much time in unfulfilling relationships, blaming the other for not loving us the way we want to be loved, when really, this connection holds the key to us learning our greatest life lessons. Healing the past, which is blocking us from seeing the other through the eyes of love in the present. Love is a journey of self-discovery.”
Jeyaia wrote No Love in 2019 and brought it to the studio a few years later to be produced by Chelsea Warner, a Sydney-based singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer.
“I knew Chelsea was the perfect producer for this track. We bonded over our mutual love of 90’s R&B and Chelsea just got it. She felt the energy of the song and helped me bring it to life.” – says Jeyaia.
StoneBridge, The FifthGuys, Coffeeshop, and Going Deeper were among the Grammy-nominated producers who took notice of Jeyaia’s debut single Rising. The remixes received massive worldwide attention, resulting in the music reaching number 8 on the UK’s Music Week Commercial Pop Top 30 charts after only a few weeks on the charts.
“I believe that when we share our truth, from the heart, without filtering ourselves, the rawness of this truth heals others who recognise this feeling but have not had the courage to speak this same truth for themselves.”
“No Love honours and commemorates the inner child within each of us, for everything they went through and all the times they felt unloved. When we realise we are love, we hold the key to unlocking our heart.’ – Jeyaia
Jeyaia’s most recent track, Rising, was featured in Beat Magazine, LA Wire / New York Wire, EDM Nations, and Music Observer, and was broadcast internationally on Double J, BBC Radio, Sirius XM, Pulse 87, Nexus Dance, Jazz 89, and is now on over 1,000 Spotify subscriber playlists.
