Kandice Cherelle releases new single ‘Broken’

Singer-songwriter and R&B artist Kandice Cherelle has dedicated her single ‘Broken’ to all victims and survivors of domestic violence. Kandice Cherelle, a native of Metro Atlanta and a survivor of domestic abuse, is using her personal experience to empower other women and men. In her song ‘Broken’, Kandice Cherelle discusses the importance of giving yourself time to recover from life’s traumas in order to be the best version of yourself. She takes the issue of domestic violence very seriously, but brokenness can come from any circumstance. Because October is National Domestic Violence Awareness Month, she made the decision to release the single during that month. Kandice Cherelle’s goal is to use music to uplift, inspire, and heal her fans, or her “krew.” She is transitioning from the gospel and using her testimony to assist others, especially those who are experiencing domestic abuse and are feeling “broken.”
