Kepa Lehtinen releases captivating new song โWaltz For The Sleeping Helsinkiโ
Kepa Lehtinen, a well-known and esteemed classical musician and TV/film composer, is pleased to announce the release of his new single, โWaltz For The Sleeping Helsinkiโ. Lehtinen composed a melancholic and ethereal waltz for piano, theremin, and double bass. While his brother Ari plays bass, Lehtinen does the piano and theremin portions. The song is overwhelmingly emotive and transports listeners into Lehtinenโs dark thoughts. He is one of the most captivating composers of contemporary classical music today, taking the often conservative genre in his own peculiar left turns. Lehtinen uses his theremin to give his compositions odd harmonies and counterpoints that give them an ethereal quality.
