When there is almost a minute-long guitar riff over drums at the very beginning of the song, you know you’re in for a treat, especially if you’re into blues rock. Shyfrin Alliance’s new single, ‘Lockdown,’ packs that distinct flavor of the genre, driving the band into the scene of alternative hard rock with gusto from its release on October 4, 2024.
Trained in Ukraine, lead vocalist Eduard Shyfrin not only contributes his deep baritone but has also composed and starred in the official music video of the track. The video consists of abstract ideas, and the energetic riff and the catchy hook are quick to immerse you in the world of Shyfrin Alliance, where they cannot help but fight just one more day to “save (your) time for love.” The song sparks hope amidst the dreary landscapes that we are being offered today and makes the listener want to break out their own dance moves, much like the artists shown in the video.
‘Lockdown’ is the first released track of Shyfrin Alliance’s latest album, “Upside Down Blues,” with the album being released on the 19th of October, 2024. It delves into genres such as blues, lounge, jazz, and such, but Shyfrin believes its roots lie in blues rock, as evident in ‘Lockdown’. It’s taken the blues rock scene by storm, and it will do so to you too, so head on over to YouTube without further ado to see what it’s all really about!
