Loser Anatomy by Stefan Dando: Review
Stefan Dando quotes “This song is cursed, but it’s damn catchy one so I’m unleashing it.” What he means was, during the release of the song, starting from building up the lyrics to getting it out to the public, he faced rejections at every step. And the irony is, this song is also about rejections.
Devasting refusals from the people you truly admire can haunt a person’s mental stability for a very long time. One of the earnest needs of human life is belonging and to be accepted. And rejection in any form takes away from this important need. However, when you look closer, you will see that success often can be interpreted as a form of acceptance. In such a dilemma of acceptance and rejection, we just need to believe that time will heal the wound and this song is an anthem that wants to heal from their traumas.
An energetic pop song that coveys dejected withdrawals in love and relationships. The verse melody rhythms tend to be shorter and more rhythmically active. Backing instruments for the chorus busier. The tempo is faster than mainstream pop. And the vocals mark a passage of music with vigorous energy.
Stefan is a singer and songwriter based in London. The song is produced by Andres Mesa and Omar Rios Melendres working on bass. It was recorded at 121 Studios in London.
