Louis Emory and The Reckless Few release melodic new track ‘Roma’
The debut Americana-infused rock EP, ‘Love Italy’, was created by singer-songwriter and frontman Louis Emory and his small collective of New York musicians known as The Reckless Few. It is a tribute to the city that rekindled Emory’s artistic flame.
They give us the smooth, minimal single ‘Roma’, which is one of the EP’s highlights. The song, which has classic rock undertones and an Americana twang, has a Dylan-like vibe that comes from Rome’s energy and atmosphere. “There’s something about walking the ancient streets layered with centuries of history, interwoven with a vibrant, modern city [Rome],” Emory says when describing the inspiration for the song. I wanted to attempt to encapsulate that sensation.”
