Me My Body And I by Mick J Clark: Review
“Me My Body And I” is an inspirational pop-rock song by Mick J Clark. I have always admired Mick’s music, involving humane themes and hopeful aspects that seemed like an epic way to rock and roll. In this fresh number, we hear a vintage guitar-driven sequence come alive, and Mick’s voice keeps us company all the way.
I’ve heard an abundance of Mick’s music, and all of it seemed to put a smile on my face. Following his usual formula of upbeat rock passages, “Me My Body And I” is no stranger pertaining to the artist’s feel-good aesthetic. Something about the song’s charm reminds me of pre-2000s popular music. There’s this classic aura about it that is exceptionally nostalgic, and the instrumental is particularly responsible for it. Mick’s voice commands the tune to perfection, and the jolly nature of this song is kept solid. However, from the instrument’s take, especially from the guitar a more edgy attribute is present. A slightly distorted riff with lead fillers culminates into a brilliant rhythm portion. This is especially true when the chorus segment enters and harmonies get introduced. All in all, it’s a colorful melody to vibe out endlessly.
As mentioned before, Mick’s music pertains to the human element. This interesting lyrical theme is immensely relatable and adds to the charm of the song. “Me My Body And I” feels like a song that anyone can resonate with, so I’d urge you to go hear it right away!
