Memories by Clay Joule: Review
“Memories” by Clay Joule is a sentimental rock song where the artist expresses gratitude for what they have. They can’t help but be melancholic as they reflect on lost love. For better or worse, it’s a clear indicator that our lives are molded by the people and situations we’ve encountered.
There is a very subtle essence to “Memories”. These come in the form of sensational electric guitar solos, and fantastic bass lines. The singer also manages to bring an overwhelming sense of magic to the scene as well. Upon listening closer to the track, I felt an artist’s soul reflection. Whether it’s pain and sorrow from the classic rock guitar solo or an eternal groove from the bass line, everything just has a charming vibe to it. I enjoyed how the artist manages to sound true to themselves, as a means of creating a genuine composition. Here, Clay Joule incorporates his own thoughts and musical attributes perfectly.
Every time the guitar drives in those high notes I feel that a part of my soul cries out. Don’t worry that’s a good thing, I only meant that I can truly understand the passion and musical talent oozing through. “Memories” has a style of pop-rock and classic rock that anyone can resonate with. I believe it can be a timeless classic with age, and when people hear it, again and again, the history books may as well speak of it too. It is a delightful track all around!
