Mnk Sht Album by SLOW.FALL: Album Review
Have you also accidentally discovered slow.fall through its album Mnk Sht and need someone to resonate with your feelings of contempt? It’s an unconventional 10-piece album, filled with washy experimental ambient music that sill up the noise in the background, and takes you into a trance over its syncopated beats, analog, and digital electronica. When I discovered him on a random Tuesday afternoon while writing another review, it took me by this incredible surprise. The type of pleasant revelation that puts a grin on your face.
The album’s melodies range from those of a wonderful to a delectable addiction, a know-how that can be heard from the very first waves of the project. I realized how the most dedicated artists and talented ones can amplify intricate elements into a wide variety of sonic landscapes. By using chords that are both delicate and unique in their purity, slow.fall leaves an indelible impact on the listener’s soul. I really dig the lo-fi vibe and the jazzy compositions that are infused with electronic hues transitioning in between a slow-genre lo-fi featuring e-pianos and saxophones. These types of songs are what I always turn to when I am too bored or can’t be distracted by words while working or trying to sleep. And right now, I can’t tell you how uplifted my mood is while conveying my personal review about “Mnk Sht”, a brilliant escapade and truly some Monk Shit from the furthest lands of peace.
