Scream is the latest single from Neon Black Dreams, a Synthwave band. Scream is the personification of wrath, using a far more forceful approach than previous tracks, with screaming guitars emphasizing the passion. As the NBD tale nears its halfway point, Yara realizes she can no longer do nothing and goes forward to save JJ. Despite all those who think it’s impossible and every doubt in her mind, she decides to press on because she feels her cause is just. When there is so much anguish, passion, and wrath inside of you, all you can do is scream!

With their unique blend of influences, the band has quickly surpassed 20k monthly listeners on Spotify and continues to develop across all social media platforms. They recently completed their first full-length album, “Kiss of the Universe.” The plot revolves around two souls who are fated to meet in countless lifetimes and fates. The debut album is set in the late 1980s and tells their amazing and tragic story through the eyes of Yara. JJ formed the band in late 2020 while looking for the appropriate voice to deliver the story. Yara joined the band in early 2021, and the future was set. The two have quite distinct musical backgrounds. With music that blends Pop, Synthwave, Post-rock, and R&B vocals to create a new depth of sound. The band does not accept musical genre boundaries, instead allowing the intensity and emotion of the songs to drive the sound. JJ uses his love of cinema scores and synth pioneers to try to capture the raw passion of the story’s protagonists.

Coming from a classical music education and a background as a musical engineer. He believed that this project needed to be shared with the rest of the globe. Yara assumes the role and feelings of the main character, taking the audience on a trip with her. Her aggressive demeanor and voice assurance are an invigorating complement to the ensemble.
