The single ‘I’m Holdin’ Out’ and the new CD and digital stream ‘Turn This Ship Around’ by Paul Hodes and The Blue Buddha Band are being released.

The Band’s most recent single, ‘I’m Holdin’ Out’, is a classic rocker that tells the tale of a “love gone bad but I’m standing strong” and has a catchy hook. Live recordings of the song’s foundational elements were followed by guitar and vocal overdubs. On the entire album, they tried to capture a live feel. ‘I’m Holdin’ Out’ has been one of our best songs for audience response; perhaps everyone has a story about witnessing a friend they thought would be hanging out with forever spending time with someone else. Thus, the song contains some significant messages about love. Although true love can be painful, it is worth holding out for and waiting for. Everyone of us deserves to meet their ideal match!
