Peaceful by Laurelight: Review
Laurelight’s captivating tune “Peaceful” has the perfect balance of synthwave and pop. With themes of hope and serenity, the artist comes into form with this powerful piece. Instrumentally epic, the track has an exciting mixture of pulsating beats and colorful synths.
Pop music has certainly branched out to vast musical facets. From rock to experimental tunes, it feels that we return to the roots of pop, synthesized to excel in “Peaceful.” In this magical track, the vocalist blends emotion and optimism in the style of singing. It’s quite heartwarming to hear, and the aura is pleasant. In synergy with the rhythm bits and the upbeat tempo, a rise in the song’s cadence can be felt. It goes from a mellow essence to an atmospheric appeal in a matter of seconds, and the transition is interesting to witness. Laurelight’s “Peaceful” reminds me of easy-listening pop from the early 2000s, which I believe is making a slow comeback. There’s something wholesome about playing a catchy tune at full volume in your bedroom and dancing to the energy of the beat. Evidently, Peaceful’s crescendo brought on that familiar sentiment and anyone hearing would find a relatable vibe at play.
Finding inspiration in a song plays a huge role in defining your musical stance. Luckily for me, songs brought to me by artists such as Laurelight uplift my soul for a solid mood boost. I hope for nothing more than consistency in music as such, so folks please don’t miss out on the moving rhythm in “Peaceful.”
