PTSD by Dax: Review
Prominent Hip Hop artist Dax arrives with his weighty ode in “PTSD.” A dynamic narrative surrounds the track, and it’s nothing less than hard-hitting. Aside from that, cinematic synth pieces carry the songwriting forward, while pulsating beats maintain the poetry’s flow.
Music is such a powerful medium. Especially when it collides with the facets of human nature. Our baggage may paralyze the possibility of joy, while simultaneously a gripping song can heal those wounds. Dax’s heartfelt track “PTSD” pertains to a similar train of thought, after all its intense lyricism was responsible for its depth and appeal. Beyond the essence of hip-hop, lay thrilling bass arrangements that anyone would gravitate towards. The instrument’s tone and presence added a nice vibration that contributed to the track’s substance and overall vibe. In addition to the electro-bass portions, an energetic beat persists. The tempo it maintains has a powerful synergy with specific parts of Dax’s rap bars. It had an interesting stance that I haven’t heard quite often in the music biz. Ultimately, this technique uplifted the core of the track and added an abundance of creativity to the mix.
Ladies and gents, who here doesn’t love a drive behind any singer or rapper? The emotion behind each word along with the expression it carries brings out their raw talent, and it’s fascinating to witness. Evidently, Dax’s track was no stranger to that and he managed to emphasize PTSD’s melody with grace and vitality.
