Purge And Flourish by Dave Belding: Review
Dave Belding shares us with a melodic tale full of atmosphere and cadence. In “Purge And Flourish” a gentle combination of ambient, post-rock, and experimental can be felt. With all these genres in effect, Dave’s creativity is in full bloom, and we’ve got front-row seats to witness the magic happen.
“Purge And Flourish” has a pleasant opening verse. The melody has a soft bit, and the instrumentals employ plenty of synths. The rhythm has an intriguing sound that follows a rather psychedelic effect. Overall, the starting sequence has a nice flow of ambient, where ethereal sounds blend right in. Eventually, the tempo rises and we grasp the song’s intensity. More effects come into the picture, and a phaser-like guitar effect joins the hymn. From then on, the song’s post-rock essence came on, and my fascination skyrocketed. I’m sure you’ll feel the same too, folks, just give it a listen and see what I mean!
The realm of cozy rock, where elements of ambient and LoFi blend in has been a favorite of mine as of late. Thus, it moves me plenty to hear “Purge And Flourish” by Dave Belding. Thus, if you’re seeking a number that follows that pattern, then you can’t go wrong with this fine song, ladies and gents!
