Kimberly Olivar is a song about wanting to reach out to someone through music when you can’t find any other way to do so. Ravery Moore, the artist/singer, is hoping to reach out to the girl named “Kimberly Olivar” through some form of music channel. He misses her and wanted to express his feelings to her when they were both teenagers. Ravery wakes up in this imagined universe recalling a girl named “Kimberly Olivar,” feeling as if his entire existence has been a dream, and that Kimmy is intended to return to him in this dream.
Ravery begins to doubt his own world, asking if it is real and what exactly determines reality. Is reality really what other people say it is? And he watches people going about their daily lives as if being real is second nature to them, and all he can think about is the girl “Kimberly Olivar,” whom he misses terribly and wonders if he will ever see again, but perhaps she will hear his song and remember him.
