Rhett Dela Cruz released melodious song ‘Worth The Wait’
A Pop Rock song called ‘Worth The Wait’ is written for those who are waiting for their dreams to come true as well as those who are feeling lost, under pressure, frustrated, lonely, and hopeless. The year 2022 has been one of apprehension and waiting for God to work in Rhett’s life. When other people’s prayers are answered before his own, especially after he has been obeying and waiting for a long time, he finds it upsetting. So he wrote this song to serve as motivation in the midst of the uncertainties, helplessness, and frustrations. He thinks that even though there have been delays, God still wants what’s best for us and that the prayers we’ve been waiting for have been worth the wait!
Toronto-born Rhett Dela Cruz is a singer-songwriter and recording artist. His goal is to write original music that, through the love of God, uplifts and inspires people in all situations. In just two months, ‘You Are My Strength’, his debut single, received more than 10,000 streams and was played in more than 30 countries. Rhett began performing in concerts at a young age and has since won numerous singing competitions in the city, including TDSB Idol.
