Romain Gutsy released outstanding new single ‘Lany’
The single ‘Lany’ by New Romain Gutsy was released on March 13, 2023.
Romain is the author and composer of the song. It’s a folk-jazz track that has a slight 70s influence and sounds very organic.
It’s a love song, albeit a fairly standard one this time, but it still has a humorous undertone, as in the line “I know I’m done,” which is uttered by someone who realizes they are victim to a spell and have no choice but to give in. Romain’s warm, raspy, growly, distinctive, and authentic voice is featured prominently in this song, which also has a jazzy folk production by Marc Bentel.
Romain Gutsy is a French-born singer-songwriter and musician who began his career in the 1990s. He has performed with more well-known musicians like Grammy-winning alt-rock band Soul Asylum and American singer Calvin Russell as well as French bands like Les Affamรฉs and Daffy Plays Mandola.
