Run by Randy Beth: Review
Following her debut single Make a Home, Randy Beth flaunts her rhythm and blues in captivating new single, Run.
This song speaks eloquently about the constant yearning for love that so many people experience, as well as the risky and even destructive measures we can take to find it. The artistโs heartfelt vocals serve as the foundation of the songโs sleek sound, which gives it an irresistible elegance and confidence. The synth, kick drums, clicks, and hi-hats build up over her silky smooth crooning as the song progresses and as we get to the chorus everything reaches its max intensity in a true RnB style. The warmth and smoothness of her voice is flawlessly complemented by the instrumental arrangements of the song.
The cicada rhythm on the high hats, the deep groovy bass, the subtle guitars in the background, the piano chords that hold everything together, and the rise and dip in her vocal delivery everything is so clean and organized it feels like a perfect brew of a smooth flavorful cup of coffeeโ not too in-your-face strong, but wonโt put you to sleep either. The song draws its listeners to check out her other single as well and makes them look forward to her future release.
Quotable Lyrics:
โHand in the fire, heart undone
Walks on a wire, before it snaps she runs
Oh she runs
She runsโ
