Savannah by Soheill: Review
“Savannah” is a chill indie-rock tune by Soheill, with elements of ambient also joining the melody. A soothing guitar intro presents itself, and what follows is a heavenly voice that calms your soul. Soheill’s identity as an artist is a profound mix of emotional lyrics and clean rhythms. All together it creates a fantastic aura in “Savannah” that indie fans will find satisfaction in.
Upon hearing “Savannah” I was completely enchanted with its cadence. The resonant vocal sections followed by each instrumental bit were a joy to hear, and a wonderful experience to undertake. Aside from that, the narrative is also quite touching and has a humane theme tied to it. Deciphering the poetry, all the while hearing the song’s essence was a delight, and moved my senses. This sentiment was elevated further when subtle beats entered its atmosphere. Within seconds, the ambient persona of the track was transformed into this light indie-rock tune. The momentum was solid and I can picture an audience immersed in Soheill’s voice and rhythm. Once your attention is centered on Savannah’s core, a wave of intensity just hits you, and it’s something tough to back away from.
The indie music biz has inspired me plenty. From Soundcloud artists to bedroom guitarists, and soul-stirring musicians such as Soheill alike, this industry has shown immense potential over the last decade or so. Without a doubt, “Savannah” is one such song that deserves more recognition, and I’d be truly glad for its success.
