London-based singer-songwriter Goda Kukučionė unveils her debut EP, Seasons, a heartfelt journey through the phases of love and loss, released on January 24, 2024. Through each track, GODA conveys us into tumultuous emotions and transformations ebbing and flowing in relationships.
Drawing influences from artists like Joss Stone, Olivia Dean, Ledisi, and GeeJa, GODA infuses her music with soulful melodies and raw emotion.
Seasons opens with “My Love,” where glinting acoustic guitars and sparkling percussion set the stage for GODA’s impassioned vocals. With lyrics dripping with passion and romance, she sings of falling in love, capturing the euphoria of new beginnings.
In “I Will Always,” GODA’s voice takes on a deeper, more haunting tone as she pledges unwavering devotion. The track builds with gnarling guitars and emotive riffs that promise enduring love and commitment with intensity.
The EP reaches its emotional crescendo with “Let Go,” a powerful break-up anthem. GODA confronts the pain of heartbreak head-on, infusing the song with cold attitude as she lets go.
Closing Seasons is the remastered version of “Feel It,” a jazzy and bluesy track that pulses with rhythm and desire. GODA’s soulful and sultry vocals build over the bends of the guitar with allure and swoon us with temptation.
GODA’s musical journey began at the age of 5 in Lithuania, where she honed her skills in classical music and went on to win numerous competitions across Europe. Since then, she has continued to captivate audiences with her soulful performances, earning recognition from Lithuanian press and radio playlists.
Listen to GODA showcase her demanding vocals and her writing skills with Seasons.
