Mexican Korean composer, guitarist, and producer Inez Leon returns with a warm and intimate R&B offering in โShow Me How,โ released October 26 alongside a dance-driven music video. Following her Spanish rock EP Del Alhelรญ, this track is emotionally rich in its soft-pop elegance and 90s R&B nostalgia. Known for her classical guitar training and her decade of production experience, Leon uses the song to bridge worlds with the acoustic tenderness of her roots and the glowing sensuality of modern R&B.
The song opens on a mellow acoustic guitar, the tone warm and lightly brushed with a natural closeness. Leonโs velvet-soft and satin-silk rich vocals enter smooth and airy, gliding across the melody with sensuality and soulfulness. She lets intimacy do the heavy lifting. Lyrically, Leon leans into vulnerability as she invites love as mutual learning. She brings softness that comes from knowing what you want and daring to ask for it.
Then the beat slides in, subtle but sure, as they pace with a slow-burn groove. A โ90s hip-hop whistle synth flickers in the background with nostalgic sweetness. Later romantic string swells fill the space like rising breath, while the layering of angelic backing harmonies rounds everything into something lush and scenic, becoming anthemic. The production is clean, restrained, and deeply intentional; thereโs room for every feeling to breathe.
โShow Me Howโ is a gentle, warm, and tender slow-dance of a song, arriving just in time to comfort the colder nights. The music video mirrors this energy, pulling from early-2000s K-pop aesthetics, with playful choreography, glowing color palettes, and an understated sensuality. Check it out on YouTube.
