Sun Incubator by Screen Frogs: EP Review
Pick up your headphones and prepare your ears for โSun Incubatorโ by Screen Frogs, this amalgamation of rock and psychedelic music will knock your socks off! Coming from humble beginnings, this four-man army was founded by two brothers in 2018. Their music draws inspiration from compositions of punk, rock, and garage house, and they showcased their artistic might with this new release.
The entire release comes with four tracks, each of which is a treat on its own. โGutsโ immediately gets your head bopping to the beautiful combination of bass and drums, those kicks are something. โSun Incubatorโ gets you grooving to the guitar solos between each verse. Now โSanctity/Holinessโ feels exactly like what the song is named after, you will find yourself immediately ascending to the afterlife as the song progresses, running away from the darkness of the real world. The curtain closes with the showstopper โSlime: Reduxโ, the most exciting and blood-pumping track in the entire release, which is going to make you rewind the entire album.
Screen Frogs maintain the melodic intensity of their debut while venturing into the hardcore territory; the vocals remain crisp, coming off as dejected yet confident, and the instrumentation is masterfully structured. This results in a pleasant listening experience, something that will end up on your playlist.
