The Heroic Enthusiasts have a new song called ‘Tears Run Rings,’ produced by Stephen Hague, a big shot in music. People say it’s a mix of old and new, like a memory from the past but also a peek into the future.
In a style both challenging and fresh, the song is still refreshing and full of feeling. “Tears Run Rings” has that unique power to touch the deepest corners of your heart. It’s music that moves you, plain and simple. The cool synth sounds and rich singing make it a perfect addition to their Brit-pop, new wave discography.
The Heroic Enthusiasts weren’t planning to make this song, but they got a chance to cover a Soft Cell/Marc Almond track. James Tabbi, the lead singer, picked ‘Tears Run Rings’ because it fits their style—love songs with a dark twist.
They teamed up with Stephen Hague, who worked with famous bands like New Order and Pet Shop Boys. The Heroic Enthusiasts wanted to respect the original song while making it their own and the result? Amazing.
This isn’t the first time they worked with Hague. They also did a new version of ‘It’s A Sin,’ a hit he made for Pet Shop Boys in 1987. People love their mix of Brit-pop, New Wave, and Post-Punk. James and Thomas, the duo behind The Heroic Enthusiasts, are known for veering away from the predictable. With their latest addition, ‘Tears Run Rings,’ they certainly achieved it!
