The AA release a new music video for โPost Partum Childโ
โFollowing the release of our first record a few weeks before the first incarceration, the experience at the theater drove us to examine our technique in order to explore new territory.โ More than just a performance, The AA will present an unprecedented evening in which our pieces will be altered, suited to the specific vibration that a theater generates, to its architecture, to its seating layout, which is uncommon in the distribution of rock bands. We will invite the Agen Conservatory to work on some of our pieces, imagining this event in an orchestrated fashion. This concert will include a perched moment, a first for 5 musicians from the Foyer La Couronne (ALGEEI), who will come to recreate on stage 6 months of effort centered on an original composition. This concert will help us to realize some of our long-held aspirations and desires.โ
Soft and acid indie-pop-electronic outfit formed by three Agenais Lรฉo Thรฉrial (vocals), Pierre-Olivier Poujade (guitar, keyboards), and Robin Massalongo towards the end of 2014. (bass). At the depths of a studio, a suave and tense voice emerges from a triturated and modified sound from diverse and dusty analog instruments (keyboards, guitars, drum machinesโฆ). They will be joined on stage later by Steve De Castro on drums and Benjamin Marsan on keyboards.
The AA is a minimalist and synthetic coldness influenced by cold wave, as well as aural and seductive visuals from rock, psychedelic, and indie culture (Tame Impala, The Cure, Suuns, David Bowie).
The AA supported Isaac Delusion, Baden Baden, Jo Dahan, Cats on Trees, and Aaron in 2015. The AA was rapidly recognized as a significant Aquitaine group, and Premiรจre Pressure/Le Phare chose them for the Esprit Musique โ Caisse dโรpargne 2016 competition. The group will be one of the ten winners (part of the Esprit Musique 2016 compilation).
The band published their first 6-track EP, โBlue Crocuses,โ on Zfrecords/Feppia in early 2016. Perceval Carrรฉ mixed the disc in Paris (Isaac Delusion).
In July, the band will appear on the stages of the John Beauregard Festival, the Garorock Festival, and the Garonna Show, with The Shoes, Chemical Brothers, M83, Deluxe, and possibly Beck.
The AA was the opening act for Feu! Chatterton on October 19, 2016.
In October 2017, the group was chosen by Le Florida to participate in La Tournรฉe, in collaboration with Rockschool Barbey and RAMA.
The AA returns with a first long format, Can Care Less, released on 21/02/2020, the result of several months of work in which the four members of Age seek to explore negligence in all its forms; an incursion stretching over 9 tracks sailing between new wave and cold phases to a more ethereal pop obviousness.
2022 The AA concentrates on live music by hosting first parties and festivals (Ez3kiel, Garorock, โฆ). The AA is planning a one-of-a-kind concert at the Thรฉรขtre Ducourneau (Agen) on May 14 in which pieces will be reworked by inviting the Agen and a perched moment will slip into this concert, a first experience for 5 musicians from the Foyer La Couronne (with disabilities) who will come to recreate on stage 6 months of work centered on an original composition.
In collaboration with Delta Studios in Pantin, an LP is being prepared for a 2023 release.
