The Anatomy of a Thought Undone by WIREHOUND: Album Review
WIREHOUND sure crafted up a magnificent album with their rock and roll edge. This musical act has an incredible collection of tunes thatโll captivate you. This aspect only grows with each track, as they are layered with a moving narrative. In addition to that, the instrumental sequences are both warm and exciting to hear, as guitar melodies are generated to own the stage.
The album starts with a peaceful, and almost meditative intro with the song โA Thought.โ This progresses beautifully towards the albumโs title track. Its melody is a mixture of evocative poetry tied with a sentimental grip. You can feel the intensity in the singerโs voice, and the instrumentโs energy escalating. In their next number, โAnnabelle,โ WIREHOUND takes it up a notch and adds a spice of rock to their essence. The guitars feel more lively, and a sensational drummer drives the tempo on an ecstatic run. So far, the album has interesting rock themes, but there are emotional pieces too, and itโs the very essence of the record itself. This comes on through the ambient-heavy tracks โFeeling the Painโ and โLovely Day.โ The cadence has plenty of heart tied with it, and each sequence attaches itself to your soul in pleasant company.
WIREHOUND ends the album in classic rock fashion with the tracks โToo Old to Learnโ and โThe Dreamer.โ One initiates with a calming piano melody, while the other sets the stage with a groovy rock allure.
