THE ONE by Ori Shlez (feat. Joy Ng): Review
Ori Shlez has been in the music industry for quite some time, and throughout that time he has produced and collaborated with a wide range of worldwide musicians. In his latest track, he combines his musical prowess with artist Joy Ng, to create โTHE ONEโ. Hereโs a short glimpse into the lyrical universe the artists introduce us to โ โIโm drowning in my thoughts now, and the current is too strong.
From summer to the winter, a dark house. Have I gone too far to fall down?โ
The song opens with a heartfelt performance and some soft singing in the background. The track has the vocalistโs signature flair and delicacy throughout, in addition to a bass guitar with a deep undertone. The piano beat keeps the tune going and makes it fairly catchy. The singer really starts to bring out the feeling and style at the beginning of the verse. This is due to her incredible singing talent and the fact that she gracefully moves her voice to the music. Her singing ability is powerful, and all the signs point to a veteran performer.
The harmony between the lead and backing singers is stunning, and the song is instantly memorable. The bass guitarโs persistence and ability to make the instrumentation strong is something I greatly admire. The song transitions from a hypnotic spoken-word section into a rap section at the finish. Strong chemistry is achieved through the artistsโ frequent back-and-forth.
