The Wake by Gianfranco Pescetti: Review
“The Wake” is a stellar instrumental number by solo artist Gianfranco Pescetti. It incorporates a resonant bass-driven melody that connects beautifully with synths and beats. Altogether, it’s a delightful synergy of music that anyone would enjoy hearing. It takes us on a voyage of cadence that is tough to ignore and pretty terrific to experience all the while.
Gianfranco’s bass and production work on “The Wake” is something special. The song is filled with enchanting sections that are full of life and music. It feels pretty enriching to hear, especially how the bass guitar is represented in the tune. Aside from that, the synthesizer portions are very catchy and form a bond with the percussion. When you hear each aspect separately, it brings a sense of immersion, but in cohesion? Oho, now that’s a treat to hear, folks. Let’s just say I was very impressed with how each instrumental layer worked in unity, and the final project was a joy to witness. If you enjoy the feeling of ecstasy in music, then you’re going to love “The Wake” just as much as me.
In terms of genre definition, Gianfranco’s song is purely instrumental, but the specifics intrigue me the most. It falls along the lines of synthwave, space rock, and progressive rock. But how about you give it a go, ladies and gents? You might even have an interpretation of your own! That being said, this is music’s magic at work, and Gianfranco Pescetti is the one leading the show.
