Backstrom has released another one of his bangers this Jan 7.
“Train Wreck Coming” is a dynamic and engaging track that seamlessly blends energetic rock elements with soulful undertones. The song is held down and grounded with thumping drums. Catchy guitar tunes get us engaged and the guitar solo gives us some breathing space to simply enjoy the music. Recorded in Buenos Aires, the collaboration between Bart Topher and Fransisco Paz, who handled the instruments, drums, mix, and mastering, reflects a cohesive and well-crafted production.
The instrumental arrangement, produced by Fransisco Paz creates a platform for the spirited vocals to shine. The American singer, Bart Topher’s vocal delivery is a standout feature, carrying the track’s infectious energy and delivering the lyrics with conviction. His raspy and energetic vocals are the most engaging aspect that directs your attention. With backing vocals and harmonies from “Singtrece,” the song gets a lot of soul infused into the upbeat mood.
With storytelling charisma leaking from the track, Leonard Cohen’s influence evidently pops. Then there’s Cash and Stones, letting the song’s raw and authentic rock sound breathe in the open. Now what really inspired this song’s content is the ‘woke’ Gen-Z awareness thing going on in the contemporary world that bugged “Train Wreck Coming” enough to make a song for it. We are glad he did, it definitely hits the mark!
Beyond the numerous interpretations we can form ourselves, Backstrom’s “Train Wreck Coming” smashes simply with the music. So listen to it!
