Vanessa Philippe releases entrancing new track ‘Parfois’
Presenting ‘Parfois’, a brand-new “homemade” video by Vanessa Philippe from the album ‘Soudain les oiseaux’.
She provides us with a trip into our imaginations here, one that revolves around the feelings that come along with losing a loved one. She transforms into her own puppet in an urban setting, dancing a baroque dance that combines illusion and magic with Georges Méliès’ ‘Le voyage dans la lune’ movie.
Vanessa Philippe’s fifth album, ‘Soudain les oiseaux’, was written and composed as a tribute to her big sister, who passed away last summer of 2019. Since January 21, 2022, it has been available everywhere; it is a favorite of FNAC record stores. The ninth music video she directed herself for this album is titled ‘Parfois’. She has received many honors for her achievements.
The New York Cinematography Film Awards have just named ‘Suivre le soleil’ a Finalist.
