Wild Horse, the East Sussex-based indie trio composed of brothers Jack & Henry Baldwin and their primary school best mate Ed Barnes, has once again hit the scene with their latest indie-pop single, “Wednesday Night Distractions,” released on Jan 10, 2024.
Influenced by hip-hop and classic 60s/70s British rock, Wild Horse glitters in the indie pop scene with its dynamic and energetic dreaminess. This dance-pop gem is nothing short of a major bop.
“Wednesday Night Distractions” immerses you in a syrupy concoction of shimmering and glimmering electric guitars. The dreamy song is perfect for nights out on the town. The thumping drums add a pulsating rhythm, making it impossible to resist moving to the beat. The infectious vocals and sultry lines are all the addictive charm you need to keep hitting repeat.
Not surprisingly, Wild Horse has been catching fire with recognition by reviewers and radio stations worldwide. In 2023, they were named BBC “Tracks of The Day,” and got airplay on multiple shows. They are even more fired up to deliver more high-quality, engaging music this year.
2024 can expect more serves on the table from this intense and consistent trio. But til’ then, let’s jam to “Wednesday Night Distractions.” Wild Horse invites us to embrace the night, let go of inhibitions, and take our shot at a new connection.
Whether heading out for a night on the town or just looking to add energy to your day, “Wednesday Night Distractions” is a must-listen.
